Privacy

TAPA does not require you to create an account. There is no login form, no email verification, no social sign-in. You open the site and use it immediately. We do not collect names, emails, phone numbers, or any personal identifiers.

Your coins, streaks, badges, and theme preference are stored in your browser's localStorage. This means:

• We cannot see your data
• We cannot sell your data
• If you clear your browser storage, your progress resets
• Your progress does not sync between devices

When you type what you are avoiding, that text is sent to an AI to generate a pep talk and suggest an intervention. Here is what happens:

• The text is sent once, processed, and returned
• It is not stored on our servers
• It is not used to train AI models
• It is not linked to any identity

TAPA does not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, TikTok tracking, or any other third-party analytics. We do not track how long you spend on the site, what you type, or where you came from. The only external scripts loaded are Google Fonts (for the Bungee and Fredoka typefaces).

The "Buy me a coffee" button is handled by an external service (Buy Me a Coffee). We never see your payment details. If you choose to donate, that transaction happens entirely between you and Buy Me a Coffee.

Since we do not store anything server-side, there is nothing for us to delete. But you can clear all your local data (coins, streaks, badges, settings) by visiting the About page and tapping "Reset my data." It disappears instantly and permanently.
